	The Marco Foscarini Physics Lab

After almost two centuries of activity the Marco Foscarini finds itself in possession of a wide collection of didactic instruments which are still used, now as in the past, with the purpose of integrating through simple experiments, carried out in the Physics Lab, what is explained in class. The founder of the Physics Lab was Abbot Antonio Maria Traversi, the first "Rector" of the Institute, which later was to take the name of Marco Foscarini classical Secondary School.

For organizational reasons the Physics Lab is divided into two sections:

• The Old Physics Lab, which houses the most ancient tools;
• The Modern Physics Lab, which holds all the most recent appliances and obviously our latest purchases;
