The logo (Bonavoglia, © 2 July 2003) that characterizes the Antonio Maria Traversi Physics Museum at Marco Foscarini High School represents a pyrometer, an instrument for showing the linear thermal expansion of metals.
It is a clear choice to distinguish the so-called "real" museum from the the virtual one, which began in late 1999 and it's characterized by the Double cone device, a curious mechanics instrument to study the gravity center motion theorem.
