The Leimbach'device of is a simple radio apparatus equipped with a double cone shape spark transmitting element and with a receiver with the same form. An induction coil and a galvanometer allow the device to operate. It is possible to perform fundamental experiences on the radio waves, such as polarization, absorption, reflection, refraction, interference, diffraction and to study the standing waves.
